Energy conservation can take many forms, such as southern orientation of windows, geo-thermal heat pumps as heat sources for hotels, and the use of compact florescent light bulbs.  Power systems management software, load shedding monitoring equipment and state-of-the art lighting and control technology will all be prominent features of the systems design.
